My name is Raymond Finney. Information is current on the day I write this note (July 5, 2011).

BIRTH: March, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

FAMILY: Happily married to my best friend, Linda, for more than 49 years (since December 22, 1961) ... Four children and two grandchildren ... Live in Maryville, Tennessee (U.S.A.), which is near one of America's most beautiful national treasures— the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) ... Approximately six years of postdoctoral education and training.

OCCUPATION: Retired physician (retired in 1999) ... Certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology... Practiced medicine for thirty-five years.

OTHER: Served four years as a Tennessee state senator (2004-2008).

FAITH: Received Jesus as my Savior at approximately twelve years of age.

• Worship at Restoration International Outreach (RIO) Revolution Church in Maryville, Tennessee. RIO is an independent Protestant Christian church, with strong emphasis on foreign and home missions and restoring the lives of hurting people. At RIO, I teach a Sunday School class— the Truth Seekers Class ... Also chairman of PROJECT BEMA, which I commend for you to adopt personally that you may spread the love of Jesus and gain eternal crowns at your Bema Judgment.


• As my busy schedule permits, I delight in worshiping on Shabbats (Sabbaths, Saturdays) at Shomair Yisrael Messianic Jewish Congregation in nearby Knoxville, Tennessee.
